A useful pest-control plan explains what will be treated, how often service occurs and what happens if activity returns. A strong promise on a website is only the starting point. The written scope tells you whether the plan fits your property.

Match the Plan to the Pest

Recurring ants and cockroaches, termite evidence and an animal in an attic are different service needs. General pest protection should not be assumed to include termites, bed bugs, wildlife removal or building repairs. Ask which pests are covered and which are quoted separately.

Compare More Than the Visit Price

Look at the initial service, scheduled visits, areas covered and any renewal charges. A low recurring price may describe a narrower service than another quote. Property size, pest activity and access can change what is required.

  • Covered pests and treatment areas
  • Initial inspection and treatment scope
  • Monthly, every-other-month or quarterly visit frequency
  • Preparation and access requirements
  • Follow-up coverage between scheduled visits
  • Exclusions, cancellation and renewal terms

Understand the Follow-Up

Find out how to report returning activity and which follow-up visits are included. Keep observations specific: where pests appeared, what they looked like and when the activity occurred. Photos can help explain a concern without replacing an inspection.

Check Repairs and Restoration Separately

Rodent and wildlife work may include trapping, exclusion, cleanup and insulation replacement. Ask for a scope for each phase. Removing an animal is different from repairing the access point or restoring a contaminated attic.

Choose the Plan You Understand

Before approving work, make sure you know what you are buying and what maintenance is expected of you. SWAT Pest Squad discusses the property, activity, service schedule and written terms before service. Request a quote for your Hollywood, Broward or Miami-Dade property rather than assuming a plan applies to every building.
